The Cabarrus County Schools Student Code of Conduct is guided by the board’s educational objectives to teach responsibility and respect for cultural and ideological differences and by the district’s commitment to create safe, orderly and inviting schools.
We believe that all students have the right to learn in a safe, warm, nurturing environment. We also believe in providing a climate that is conducive to learning and free of disruptive behavior. The faculty and staff work hard to create a positive atmosphere in which students can learn. It is the duty of teachers (school staff) and parents/guardians to help students become more responsible for their own behavior. Through a close partnership, parents/guardians and educators will lead by example and ensure that all students benefit from a safe, inviting environment that is conducive to learning.
