Seniors will attend an informational meeting during homeroom with some important updates. Please see your homeroom teacher for details if you are unable to attend.

Cap & Gown Order:
Thursday September 26th
Cap and Gown orders through Jostens
o Orders are just around the corner! Purchase early while the price is LOW; payment plans are accepted.
o Jostens will be at school (during lunches) on September 26th to purchase cap and gowns, class rings, senior spirit wear, etc
o Cap and Gown delivery will be in March (exact date TBA) at CCHS, during all lunches.
*You must order a cap and gown to participate in graduation*
How to place your cap and gown order:
1. Go to www.Jostens.com
2. Click graduation (search for Central Cabarrus)
3. Scroll down, click browse all graduation and then click cap/gowns
4. Caps and gowns will be online at the beginning of August

Cady Portraits
Log on to https://home.cady.com/order-products/seniors/ to schedule your senior picture session. Yearbook pictures are mandatory - they will be used in the yearbook and for the graduation ceremony. Purchase of pictures is not mandatory.
STEM
STEM Students who complete the STEM Pathways I, II or III are awarded the STEM Seal of Distinction on their diploma. In addition, STEM Stoles are awarded to students who complete the STEM II and STEM III requirements.
For those students being awarded the STEM Stole, they can pay for their STEM Stole on the K-12 Payment Center.
Central Cabarrus High School Graduation Dress Attire
Everyone: CAP WITH TASSEL AND GOWN.
CAPS MAY NOT BE DECORATED FOR THE CEREMONY.
Dress: For students wearing a dress, please follow the guidelines below:
● Dress: School (dress code) Appropriate Dress
○ color and pattern must not be obscene, fluorescent, or be able to be seen through the gown.
● Skirt/Blouse: Business Casual—a colored skirt that follows the same criteria above and solid white dress shirt.
○ Prom/party dresses, evening wear, and sundresses are not appropriate for graduation.
○ The skirt/dress must be school appropriate, not longer than your gown, not show at the top of your gown, and be no more than 3 inches above the knee
○ School appropriate sleeveless dresses must have straps at least 2in across the shoulder. (No strapless gowns)
● Shoes: Dark colored or neutral shoes. Sandals with a heel strap are permitted.
○ Flip Flops are NOT appropriate for graduation.
○ High heels are permissible, but please remember that you will be doing a lot of walking and climbing up and down stairs.
● White Collar on Gown: A white collar attached to the gown is permissible, if desired.
Slacks & Shirt: For students wearing slacks and a shirt, please follow the guidelines below:
● Shirt: Plain, white dress shirt with white collar; button-up shirt.
○ Polo shirts are NOT appropriate.
● Pants: Solid dark or khaki dress slacks
○ No Cargo Pockets, Jeans, Shorts, and Other Non-Dress Pants are NOT Appropriate
○ Jumpsuits and pantsuits that are longer than the gown must be solid; they cannot have pinstripes or designs lower than the gown’s hem.
● Shoes: Solid black, navy, brown, or tan dress shoes (Sneakers, flip flops, sandals, boots, and other non-dress shoes are NOT appropriate for graduation).
○ Boat shoes are permissible if leather and un-scuffed.
● Socks: Designs are acceptable if worn under pants and must not be obscene.
● Tie: All ties, including bowties, must comply with the same appropriateness as the dress code.
○ Color and pattern must not be obscene, fluorescent, or be able to be seen through the gown.
