I hope you all have had a wonderful start to your summer break. Thank you for making the 2020-2021 school year a success!! We are looking forward to August and hopefully having a more traditional and "normal" start to the 2021-2022 school year. If you have been by Wren High School since the start of summer, you have probably noticed all of the construction equipment in the front parking lot. We look forward to being able to show off our renovations to the 100 Hall and our restrooms. Thank you to the Anderson One Board and District Staff for providing the resources to make this happen!!
Please take just a few minutes to review the important information included in this newsletter about the upcoming school year. We will continue to update this website throughout the next few weeks with the most up to date information pertaining to the start of school. The construction may impact when we can do Open House or have Seniors paint their parking spots in August. Right now, we hope to have Open House on Thursday, August 12 from 6:00-7:30 and Freshman Orientation on Monday, August 16. We will send out more details ASAP.
Please feel free to contact the front office (864)850-5900 or email me (youngs@apps.anderson1.org) if you have any questions.
See you all soon!!
Dr. Seth Young, Principal

Breakfast and lunch will once again be free for students during the 2021-2022 school year. If students wish to purchase additional food or drinks 'a la carte' from the WHS Cafeteria, they may do so. Parents may send money to be deposited into the student's account on an as-needed basis. Cash or checks should be given to the cafeteria manager when students arrive in the morning. As students purchase food products, their individual account is debited. Students and parents may check their remaining balance in the account at any time. Students also have the option of purchasing food on a cash basis as well.
All students will receive a new Chromebook and charger on the first day of school in August. If students have not returned thier chromebook from the 2020-2021 school year, they will not receive a new device.
All Incoming Freshman will receive their Chromebooks the first day they attend classes in person.
Students should have returned their Chromebooks to school prior to leaving for Summer Break.
Lost or stolen Chromebooks will require a police report and $50 deductible. Lost, damaged, or stolen chargers are not covered by insurance and are $40.
