Introduction

Welcome to Garage Sale: AI Value Finder (the “App”), owned and operated by Appisode LLC (“Appisode,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App and related services. By downloading, installing, subscribing to, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

What Garage Sale Does
Garage Sale is an AI-powered value identification and collection management app that enables you to:

Scan products (via camera or upload) to identify items commonly found at garage sales, flea markets, or personal collections.
Retrieve estimated resale values from online e-commerce and marketplace data.
Add identified items to your personal collection, organize and track them within the app.
View real-time market data and valuation trends, powered by aggregated public information.

The App uses artificial intelligence (AI) and web-sourced price data to deliver approximate value insights. Values are informational only and not guaranteed to reflect real-time resale prices.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App.
By using the App, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You may not use the App if prohibited by applicable law or regulation.

Account Registration and Security

Some features of the App require registration and account creation.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials.
You must immediately notify Appisode of any unauthorized access or suspected breach.
Appisode will not be liable for any damages or losses resulting from your failure to secure your account.

License Grant

Appisode grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App.
Use the App or its data for commercial resale or aggregation.
Circumvent access or security measures, or scrape data without authorization.

User Content

Submissions

The App allows users to upload images of items, input text, and maintain a personal collection database (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your original content.

License to Appisode

By submitting User Content, you grant Appisode a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, process, display, and analyze the content for the sole purpose of providing, improving, and operating the App.

Prohibited Content

You agree not to submit content that:

Infringes intellectual property rights or privacy rights of others.
Contains illegal, defamatory, or obscene material.
Depicts counterfeit goods or fraudulent listings.
Contains malware, spam, or deceptive metadata.

Appisode reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

Valuation Disclaimer

All values, price estimates, and market insights generated by the App are informational only.
Prices are derived from public online marketplace listings, historical sales data, or AI estimation models.
Appisode does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any valuation data.
The App is not a financial advisory, appraisal, or auction service.
You acknowledge that any buying, selling, or listing decisions are made at your own discretion and risk.

Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the App may require a paid subscription.

Payment will be charged to your app store account upon confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends.
Renewal charges occur within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, will be forfeited upon subscription purchase.
Subscription management and cancellation are available in your device account settings.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Restrictions on Use

You agree not to:

Use the App to obtain or resell data commercially.
Misrepresent item values or create fraudulent listings.
Interfere with or overload Appisode servers.
Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to extract data.
Upload copyrighted material or products you do not own.

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
APPISODE MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF OUTPUTS.

We do not guarantee that:

The App or data will be error-free or continuously available.
Valuations will be accurate, complete, or reflective of current market conditions.
The App will meet your expectations or produce specific financial outcomes.

You use the App at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Appisode shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill.
Appisode’s total liability for any claim related to the App shall not exceed US $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Appisode, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

Your use or misuse of the App.
Your violation of these Terms.
Your infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

Appisode may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in California, US.

Communications

By using the App, you consent to receive electronic communications, including notices, updates, and service messages.

Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Appisode regarding the App.
Severability: If any clause is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
Waiver: Appisode’s failure to enforce any right shall not be considered a waiver.
Assignment: You may not transfer or assign these Terms; Appisode may assign them freely.

Feedback

Any feedback, ideas, or suggestions you provide regarding the App may be used by Appisode without restriction or obligation.
