The hard work and determination of each team for PASIKLABAN paid off at the award ceremony on April 18, 2023. After the event officially ended at 3:00 PM, the awarding ceremony started soon after. Hosted by the Students Council Officers, the awarding was kicked off by giving recognition to the leaders of the four teams: White Wolves, Yellow Leopards, Red Jaguars, and Green Panthers for facilitating their groups throughout the competition. Aside from that, each participant was also given certificates of recognition for actively participating in the events the Student Council prepared.
The Red Jaguars were announced as the overall champions for the Pasiklaban: Tunggalian ng Talento at Kakayahan. They won both the business and science categories of the case study, which led them to be awarded as champions. The entire group and each of its participants in the case study received medals and certificates.
Following the team for first runner-up are the Yellow Leopards, who obtained awards for the APEC Guru and Flag Making Contest competitions, while the second runner-up were the White Wolves, who consistently placed in 2nd and 3rd place in the competitions.
At the end of the awarding ceremony, the current Student Council President, Vonn Jhenzon Puga (B09-12 ABM-S1-1), introduced the aspiring Student Council candidates for the next school year. He introduced the YUGTO partylist and two other individual candidates.
In summary, the Pasiklaban turned out to be a success thanks to the hard work of the students who organized it, and to the participants who gave their time and effort in preparing and researching for the competitions. It was a memorable event and an excellent opportunity for the students to show and shine in the areas where they excel, and also to practice their collaboration and presentation skills, which is something APEC Schools emphasizes within its students to prepare them for a future that gets better each day.
