AS THE FUN WEEK BEGAN, the orientation for the schedule and guidelines was held on February 14, 2023. It was held as part of the preparations for the E-Games tournament that will officially commence the next day. On February 15, event organizers were given 30 minutes to prepare (10:00 AM to 10:30 PM), followed by games for elimination rounds from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM. Finals were to be held on February 16.The venue will be divided into two areas: one for Mobile Legends (ML) and the other one for Call of Duty Mobile (CODM). ML will have several elimination rounds on Day 2 and Day 3, however, since there are only 2 registered teams for CODM, the team that will win the 2 elimination matches will automatically be declared the champion.
Any violations made in the E-Games tournament will be reported to the marshals. This will cause a massive points penalty on the class the players are representing. The registered players were told to bring their own gaming necessities such as their own source of the internet (data/wifi) and chargers to avoid any disturbances and unwanted occurrences during the game and to ensure a smooth gaming experience. All in all, they were able to discuss a wide variety of things about the tournament which will ensure that it can proceed without any problems.
Looking for a place to show off your gaming skills and improve your team's sportsmanship? How about practicing teamwork?
February 15, 2023 marked the start of APEC Ortigas Extension's Fun Week E-games Tournament both for Mobile Legends and Call of Duty Mobile. Registered student members from different teams were assigned to who they're going up against. Each game had four (4) rounds, where the last round or finals will take place on February 16, 2023.
Players were given 30 minutes of preparation to think of strategies and plans. The first two (2) teams that went up against each other were from Grade 7 and Grade 8. Grade 9 and Grade 10 went second, while Grade 11 and 12 went last. There are only two teams registered under Call of Duty Mobile making it a best-of-three match-up. Since Team Killing Sprees was the team that won the first two matches, there was no need for a Game 3, making Team Killing Sprees the champions for CODM. Mobile Legends' Grade Level Match (Round 1), on the other hand, was between Grade 9's Team 1 and 2, and Grade 11's Team 1 and 2. Declared Grade Level Match winners are Back To December and Artemis. The Inter-Grade Level Match (Round 2) was between Grades 7 and 8, Grades 9 and 10, and Grades 11 and 12. Vorpal Swords, ToMeGang, and Artemis were the teams who advanced to the semi-finals. ToMeGang won against Vorpal Swords in this round, thus, ToMeGang and Artemis will face each other on Feb. 16's Final Round.
