Students from Grades 8 and 9 have showcased their talents in dancing by performing Zumba, a result of their effort and hard work from given practice dates.
Grade 8 students started the program with the song “Cheerleader” by Omi. As the performance was about to end, a short surprise song was played, namely “Wet the Bed” by Chris Brown, where the overall formation of the section was a straight line.
Whereas, Grade 9 students performed the song “Uptown Funk” by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars in red and black clothing with matching red face masks, where the formation started in an x and turned into a circle at the end.
Both performances captured the audience's attention due to the atmosphere they delivered through song, attire, formation, and most of all, energy.
According to Fatima from Grade 9,
“I enjoyed this activity as dancing is one of my hobbies.”
A student from Grade 8 said that:
“I was so nervous, but I made it out.”
