Zeke is a Los Angeles native who went to school at the University of Virginia on a full ride merit scholarship before returning home to the West Coast. After completing the Coro Fellowship in Public Affairs, Zeke has been hard at work trying to bridge his passions for academia, teaching, social justice and music. He is a former adjunct faculty member and current researcher at the USC Annenberg School for Journalism and Communication, an musician (bassist, cellist and producer), and a teacher at APCH working with students on bass, cello, production and music theory. He splits his musical time between his solo project Friends of and his band FNTN (“Fenton”). His passion for education and equity lead him to APCH where he is blessed to work alongside such talented and dedicated people in the music department. Zeke hopes his time at APCH can help inspire the next generation of young people in South LA to pursue their passions for music.
