It was a privilege to visit Toyo High School in Tokyo and meet Mr Kazuhiko Ishii (Principal) and Mr Yoshiyuki Ichikawa (Vice Principal) and Ms Tae Hanazumi, Chief of the Education Committee, tour the school and meet some students. Aotea College looks forward to developing a positive and mutually beneficial relationship with Toyo High School.

While visiting Tokyo it was great to meet Itsuki Ebisawa at the offices of Wintech Ltd. Itsuki has enrolled to attend Aotea College from the start of 2018. We re looking forward to welcoming him next year and supporting his academic achievement and enthusiasm for playing football.

I enjoyed meeting up with Mayuko Terada again at the World Avenue offices in Tokyo. Mayuko had recently visited Aotea College to help build our relationship with Japan. I also met Erika Someno, Senior Counsellor

In Osaka, I met with Kyoko Takahashi, General Manager Nexsis Japan Co Ltd along with representatives of Onslow ans Wellington Girls' Colleges.

I did manage to have some time to visit Sanja-sama shrine in Akasuka, Tokyo.

It was a pleasure to welcome Mayuko Terada, Marketing Director, World Avenue, Tokyo to Aotea College.

Our staff and students enjoyed being able to show her around and talk about our school.

We look forward to developing strong relationships with Japan.
