SCHOOL CALENDAR

The school calendar for the ensuing school year shall be prepared by the superintendent and presented for Committee approval in April of each year.

The calendar shall set forth the days that schools shall be in session, holidays and vacation periods, staff-development days, teacher orientation days and days of parent-teacher conferences.

In preparing the calendar , the superintendent shall consult with other administrators and surrounding school districts, and with representatives of teachers' organizations and administrators.
