SCHOOL ATTORNEY/LEGAL SERVICES

The School Committee will retain an attorney who is sufficiently familiar with the requirements of school law to enable said attorney to offer legal counsel and services as required and requested by the School Committee.

The school attorney is the legal representative of the School Committee in matters pertaining to the performance of its duties .

The school attorney will provide counsel as needed to the superintendent and t he School Committee upon the request of the superintendent or the chair of the School Committee.
