SUPPORT STAFF POSITIONS (MAINTENANCE AND CUSTODIAL)

The Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Community School District Board of Trustees shall employ nonprofessional personnel in positions, which function to support the educational program of the schools. All maintenance and custodial positions shall be established initially by the Trustees. For each new position, the Trustees will review an initial job description as prepared by the superintendent.

Although positions may remain temporarily unfilled, or the number of persons holding the same type of position reduced in event of de-staffing requirements, only the Trustees may abolish a position that it has created.
