About Me

“Don’t believe everything you think.” – Unknown

As the mother of two teenagers and being actively involved in their activities, Kari realized her passion of working with adolescents and supporting them as they approach adulthood. So, after 25 years working as a graphic designer and advertising art director, Kari returned to school to obtain her Master’s in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Walden University. From witnessing the life struggles of young people she has encountered in her own life, Kari has developed a passion for helping adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. In her free time, Kari is happiest spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys watching her son play ice hockey and supporting her daughter’s activities, including cheer.
