I would like to welcome each of you to a new school year for the Antlers Public School. It has been a busy and challenging summer but the Administration, Board of Education, Faculty and Staff are excited about our students returning to school.
This school year presents itself with a great challenge. Great challenges also bring great opportunities to evolve. As we begin to evolve and change the delivery methods for educating our students, keep in mind that the most important thing is to always focus our attention on the students of the Antlers Public Schools. Change is difficult but necessary if we are going to continue to provide opportunities for our students to be successful lifelong learners.
We have worked this spring and summer to ensure that we can return to school safely. The school district has purchased disinfecting machines for classrooms and buses, thermometers for temperature checks, and sanitizing wipes for all hard surface items. We have also worked on a plan that provides the school district with the best way to re-open safely. As always, the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff will be huge part of the decisions that we make.
In closing, the COVID-19 pandemic and the response to it is continuously changing. We are in unique times that require flexibility and cooperation from everyone involved with the Antlers Public Schools. Thank you in advance for working together to ensure our students health and safety.
Enjoy the rest of your summer and we look forward to seeing you all soon!
