Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Anna ISD. We greatly appreciate your willingness to invest your time and efforts into supporting AISD students, families and staff. Volunteers who work with AISD student groups and organizations will need to complete a volunteer application. These groups include, but are not limited to, PTA organizations, booster clubs, cheerleading squads, dance squads (athletic and fine arts), and any other AISD student organizations where adults will be working with students other than their own children at AISD sponsored events.

Become a school volunteer by completing the Anna ISD Volunteer Process below.

1. Choose Your Volunteer Level

Anna ISD considers volunteers at two levels.

Level 1 Room parties, office volunteers, class presentation

Level 2 Frequent ongoing volunteering in the school, field trips, sponsoring after-school activities

Campus secretaries will organize and monitor the work of volunteers.

2. Complete the Volunteer Application

VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS MAY TAKE UP TO TWO WEEKS TO BE PROCESSED.

If you are a Level 1 volunteer, you do not have to complete a background check.

If you are applying to be a Level 2 volunteer, you MUST complete a background check. After your application is received, you will receive an email from the Anna ISD Human Resources Department with instructions on how to complete your fingerprinting/background check.

DO NOT contact staff members at schools regarding your volunteer application. Your application is a confidential matter. Once you are approved, you will receive an electronic email notification. You will be able to volunteer in the district throughout the school year.

3. Review the Volunteer Guidelines

4. Agree to Volunteer Code of Ethics
