Qatar Women Engineers Association (QWEA) قويّة, which in Arabic means the strong women, is a non-profit association founded in late 2020 and falls under the umbrella of the Qatar Society of Engineers (QSE).
The Office of Diversity and Climate (ODC) leads and supports university-wide initiatives that promote an inclusive and equitable community for the students, faculty and staff.
The mission of the WFF is to build a community to support Texas A&M at Qatar's female faculty, academic staff, and students to achieve their full potential and equitable representation in leadership positions and roles through initiatives that emphasize recruitment, retention, and advancement.
MENA Women in Engineering is a networking group for women engineers in the MENA region that promotes equity, diversity, and inclusion of women in the workplace. It enables women to network, and share knowledge. We also have a mentorship program to support the development of women engineers.
The MA in Women, Society and Development is a two-year interdisciplinary program focusing on issues related to women in the context of social and economic development in the Middle East, as well as women’s various roles in the advancement of their communities and societies in the region.
