Sean McCurdy

Welcome to my website.

This is a picture of me, dressed as a boll weevil. In the 1930s, boll weevils were the single most important agricultural pest in America. They are also very cute.

I am very proud of it.

Research Interests

My research interests span the intersection of Calculus of Variations, Geometric Measure Theory (GMT), and Analysis of Partial Differential Equations, and Analysis on Non-smooth Domains. I am interested in the singular geometry of free-boundary problems, boundary unique continuation, quantitative stability results, and topics in pure GMT, such as set parametrization and rectifiability.
