Welcome to the website of the Carnegie Mellon University Linguistics Club! The Linguistics Club is a student-run organization for Carnegie Mellon University undergraduates and grad students interested in linguistics.

Join us

The CMU Linguistics Club meets every week during the school year. Our activities include hosting guest speakers, reading about less commonly spoken languages, working on linguistic Olympiad problems, and presenting on interesting topics in linguistics.

The best way to join us online is through our Discord server, where you can ask questions about linguistics, share memes, and find out about linguistics-related events happening around campus.

The club has historically been organized through a Facebook group, which now sees little use.
