The journey starts with you in a room with a mysterious cage. A prompt incites you to buy eggs using some initial amount of money. After a few moments, cute little baby crickets start to hatch and eating the food inside the cage...

As you progress through the game, you discover a variety of crickets facts and learn how to be responsible. You increase the size of the cage, make sure they get plenty of food, take care of them after they die, and once they mature, you cash out!

After a few minutes, you purchase a camera that lets you zoom into the cricket cage take a closer look at them. But your curiosity isn't satisfied yet... What is that weird looking syringe button?

You decide to click on it, and observe the crickets grow at a dazzling speed. Cool! Less time to wait until they reach maturity. A few moments later, you hear a loud glass breaking sound... The crickets have broken out of their cage and are coming after you! Can you find a way to escape them?
