Nevitt Forest School Counseling
Nevitt Forest Elementary will be participating in eLearning for students effective Monday, March 16th through April 30, 2020.
This closing is to adhere to the state's recommendations for social distancing. During this time Nevitt Forest Elementary School will be operating via an online format. With this in mind, School Counselors will be available via email and WebEx during the remote school day Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 12:00pm. All schools and offices will be closed on April 2-3 and 6-10, 2020. eLearning will not take place on these dates; therefore, the school counseling department will be closed as well.
What does this mean for school counseling services?
This means that your child's School Counselor will be providing remote services to students and families during this time. School Counselors will be online during the school day (9:00am-12:00pm) to respond to questions and provide assistance. To e-mail me, you can visit the "Contact Me" page.
During our extended learning time, it is our priority to address the social emotional needs of both students and parents. We would like to provide resources to support you and your child as they navigate new emotions and responsibilities over the coming weeks. Because some students may experience increased anxiety as they are challenged with e-learning content, we have provided some helpful resources to assist you and your child in this area.
