I am so excited to kick off this school year!  I have been teaching for 19 years at Midway.  My passion is teaching reading and social studies, and I'm so excited to focus on those two subjects this year.  I have two children, James and Jemma.  James is going into 9th grade and Jemma is going into 5th grade.  My husband works as a cook at AnMed. 

Fifth grade is such a special year as it marks the end of elementary school.  This year will be full of fun with our field trip to Charleston, immersive learning days, and our annual kickball tournament!  Looking forward to a fun and fabulous year!
