About This Unit
Similar to the decimal unit you have learned the basic operations with fractions. In this unit we will review how to add, subtract, multiply, and divide fractions. You will see many types of fractions in middle school; improper fractions, mixed numbers, equivalent fractions. Get ready to put all of those fraction skills to good use! This unit is important as you will need to be able to work with fractions easily as you learn more complex math in the years ahead.
