Program Disclaimer:

Archer Athletics aims to compete at a high level in every sport while providing an environment that promotes both individual player development and team success—during the current season and in the seasons ahead. Parents and players should understand that roles and levels of participation may vary from player to player during practices and games. While player development will always be an emphasis of Archer Athletics, the competitive nature of athletics increases as players advance to higher levels. As a result, opportunities for individual development during games may become more limited, and playing time may vary more significantly from player to player. Practice, therefore, becomes increasingly important to each athlete’s continued development and preparation for game opportunities. At the Middle School, JV, and Varsity levels, playing time, player roles, and game involvement are determined by the coaching staff based on what they believe best supports individual development, the overall success of the team, and the continued pursuit of program excellence. Archer Athletics supports our coaches in making these decisions and trusts them to balance player development, team needs, and competitive success in a manner consistent with the goals of our athletic program.
