Maintenance Department –
The Maintenance Department consists of the scheduling and operations of the following departments: Energy Management, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Locksmith, Sign Fabrication, Carpentry, and Painting. All trades operate within a Preventive Maintenance Program that is planned and scheduled through our computerized work order system. General maintenance items are also scheduled through the same work order system. Requests for work orders should be filled out at the above link or phoned in to Physical Plant General Services. Please do not contact the Maintenance Technicians directly, as we are trying to track all work orders. Supervisors review daily work orders and assign priorities for service.

Custodial and Special Projects Department –
The Custodial and Special Projects Department provides basic custodial services and emphasizes safe, sanitary conditions for AC facilities. Custodians perform routine cleaning primarily during the night shift. This is supplemented by our day porters. Cleaning is prioritized and scheduled in the following order: trash pick-up, restrooms, classrooms, hallways, stairwells, high traffic areas, breakrooms and office areas. Floor care such as carpet cleaning and stripping and waxing are scheduled on weekends, holidays and periodically during the week if time allows. Other custodial needs are Special Projects. This covers special event needs, such as moving and setting up of tables and chairs, and it also covers basic moving services on campuses. Basic moving needs (i.e., furniture, transfers, and disposals) are completed by filling out the forms Equipment Transfer and Equipment Disposal and submitting them to the Business Office for processing. Special Event setup requests should be completed by submitting the Event Setup Work Order. Please contact your departmental lead for assistance with this form. Work Orders will be scheduled by the Custodial Superintendent, who may call to verify the request. It will then be added to the daily schedule. Special requests for area deep cleanings are also accepted. If you have any questions related to these services please contact the Custodial Superintendent.
