Amador Valley High School PTSA
The Amador Valley High School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) brings together parents, students, teachers, administrators, school board members, and community members to support our teens’ learning and development and to advocate effectively for all children and youth. Our voices are heard from the principal’s office to the White House.
We hope you will choose to join the Amador PTSA and be part of the country’s largest and oldest children’s advocacy organization, the National PTA. We work together as volunteers to ensure that our high school students have the best possible learning experience during their time at Amador Valley High School.
At Amador, the role of the PTSA is to build a sense of community among parents, teachers, and students and to ensure that every student benefits from enriched learning opportunities.
Amador Parking Lot Project
The Amador Valley High School student parking lot is receiving an eco-friendly upgrade with a new solar structure! This new solar structure will allow our Amador community to reduce its carbon footprint, provide a long-term source of renewable energy and create covered parking for our students in a new re-oriented lot. The new re-oriented lot will also include a number of safety improvements, including additional crosswalks. Construction for the parking lot is anticipated to be complete by mid October.
