QUAKE BASS KONTAKT LIBRARY
The Quake library features up/down picking, palm mutes, hammer-ons/pull offs and humanization triggers. Organic tuning down to A#00 (more than an octave below standard 5 string B). Extremely light to extremely heavy picking articulations for a realistic range of dynamics. Picking samples only, no fingerstyle or slap. Paid version of Kontakt 6+ required. Price: $40.

ABOUT ME
I'm C.J. and I'm an audio engineer from a little town called Edwardsburg, Michigan. I've been playing extended range instruments for 15 years. After the Burial's "Rareform" album (the green one), Meshuggahs "Nothing" album (the blue one), and "Constellations" by August Burns Red are some of my favorite albums ever. I've played and owned everything from severely downtuned 6 strings to unwieldy 10 strings in an effort to develop my own sound as a guitar and bass player. You can check out the last album I did with my band The Standard Model below.
Throughout my time playing 8 string guitar riffs in The Standard Model, I was also interning at local studios, mixing my own band and my friends bands, and pursuing every bit of audio work I could get my hands on in the metal genre. Now I mainly play my custom 30" baritone 7 string with Evertune and my 40" scale Kalium Quake bass for my studio demos and solo projects, while spending the majority of my free time mixing and mastering awesome modern metal songs.
