Veronica Collins Hays

Hi!! I am Veronica Hays and I teach 6th grade World Cultures. This is my 9th year teaching, all at RPJH. I am married with a 5 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. My daughter will start Kindergarten this year at Don Jeter. When I am not at work, I am spending time with my family and friends. I love to travel, bake, be outdoors in nature, and do crafts from Pinterest. I am a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan, even though I was born and raised in the Houston area. I married a Dallas Cowboys fan which make football season interesting in our home! I graduated from Alvin High School in 2001, and have lived in the area most of my life! I attended UHCL and graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 2009, and my Masters of Arts in Criminology in 2012! I am a firm believer that you can do whatever you put your mind to. Even though this year is new for everyone, I cannot wait to start learning together!

I graduated from UHCL in 2009 with my bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. I received my Masters in Criminology in 2012
