A little about me...

Welcome to my classroom! I am thrilled to be teaching 7th grade reading this year, and hope to share my love for literature with my students. This will be my 5th year teaching at Alvin JH! I am originally from San Antonio, TX but moved to Alvin in 2011 and couldn't be happier with that decision. I graduated from Lamar University with my bachelor's and am currently in graduate school with the same university. I look forward to continuing my education while teaching full time as well. I look forward to this school year.

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family, or simply relaxing at home (when I'm not busy with my own school work). I love writing short stories, and aspire to share this passion with my students.
