Hello! I grew up in Alvin and graduated from Alvin High School in 1987. I married my husband in 1991 and we have a daughter and a son. I graduated from Alvin Community College and then received my teaching degree from the University of Houston - Clear Lake in 2004.

I began my teaching career in 2005 teaching 3rd graders. The following year I switched grade levels and taught 2nd grade for 13 years. In 2019 I changed direction and now teach special education.
