About Me!!

Hi!! My name is Salome Mariam Philip and I am the campus Speech -Language Pathologist. This is my 6th year working with Alvin ISD and I absolutely love this district. Over the past 5 years, I have worked with a variety of children with disabilities including middle school and early childhood between the ages of 3-5 years of age. However, I truly enjoy working with elementary kids and they bring happiness to my life.

Currently, I live in Rosharon with my parents and sister. I have been married for two years and still waiting for my husband to join me from India at the earliest :)

I completed my Bachelors and Master of Science from All India Institute of Speech and Hearing, Univeristy of Mysore, India in 2015.

In addition, to helping my Wilder Wolves with their communication deficits, I am also part of the Early Childhood Assessment Team (ECAT) for the West Side of the district which is a multi-disciplinary team of Physical Therapist (PT), Occupational Therapist (OT) and Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) evaluating young children between the ages of 3-5 years.

I am looking forward to another exciting school year with my Wilder Wolves!!
