Hello, I am the nurse here at Pomona Elementary. This will be my third year here and I cannot wait to see all of our students face to face again! I care deeply about the health and wellness of our entire campus. Children need to be healthy in order to learn.
Please let me know if your students have any health issues that I need to be aware of: asthma, diabetes, seizures, allergies to foods or medications, ADHD, eczema, etc. If you need to drop off medications for your child, please bring them in the original medication bottle with the prescription label still on it. All medications must be brought in and picked up by a parent or guardian. Please see the School Health Services page to access the necessary forms for medications.
Please send a change of clothing for every student in a Ziploc bag in case they have an accident, spill food or drink on their clothes, fall in the mud, have a nosebleed, etc. Clothing donations are always accepted as well for the clinic. Masks are highly encouraged this year for staff and students to help keep our campus healthy and in school. Please make sure to wash masks daily so we can prevent the spread of germs.
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to getting to know you all this school year!
