The Lone Star Reading List
The Lone Star reading list is developed by public and school librarians from the Young Adult Round Table. The purpose of the list is to encourage students in grades 6, 7, or 8 to explore a variety of current books.Â
Students that wish to participate in the Lone Star reading program have the opportunity to read their way to a field trip in the spring! To participate, download the reading list and take the quiz each time you finish a book. The first 25 students to complete 10 Lone Star books and and the corresponding quizzes will get to go to an author visit and pizza party with other participating Alvin ISD Junior High students!
