Hello Iowa Colony Pioneers! I am so excited to be able to start this inaugural school year with you all. This will be my lucky number 13th year teaching. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in Visual Art Studies, and I will always bleed burnt orange...Hook 'Em Horns! I also attended the University of Florida in order to earn a MA in Art Education.

My name is Maria Carlo and this will be by eighth year teaching art! I received my Bachelors of Art with a Professional Sequence in Education from The University of Houston in 2009. Go Coogs! I am so thrilled to begin this year at Iowa Colony with all of you!
