Alex Meng

About Me

Coach Alex Meng will be entering his 8th year of teaching and 1st year at Manvel High School. The last 7 years I have been a Head Softball Coach and Biology teacher at Elkins High School. Before teaching high school I spent four years an an Assistant Softball Coach at my alma mater, Stephen F. Austin State University, where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology in 2011 and Master’s Degree in Secondary Education in 2014. This year I will be teaching Biology and Environmental Systems. My wife, Marie Meng, is the Head Cross Country, Head Women's Track Coach and English 4 teacher at Manvel HS. We have a 5 year old daughter, Rowan, and a newborn son, Rayden.
