About me Todo sobre mi

I am excited for the upcoming school year and look forward to get to know my new students. I was born in Mexico but moved to Texas in 1998 and graduated from Uvalde High School. I attended The University of Texas-San Antonio where I received my B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2008. I began working for Seguin ISD in 2015 and have been teaching Spanish for the last five years. I have been married for ten years now and I'm a proud mother of five beautiful kids. My family and I moved to the Rosharon area last year, which is when I began my career with Alvin ISD. I look forward to teaching and coaching this year and encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

See ya'll soon! Nos vemos pronto!

Course goal

Our goal in Spanish class, is to develop skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing while also learning the use of grammatical structures and vocabulary of the Spanish language. We look to gain cultural knowledge of the Spanish speaking world by engaging in activities that will involve: dialogue with classmates, listening to music or watching educational videos in Spanish and individual/group exercises that will require the practice of the language. I ask that we please be kind to others as we get to know each other and learn a new way of communicating.
