Welcome to Manvel Art!
My name is Maria Carlo and this is my seventh year teaching art, and my first year at Manvel High School! I received my Bachelors of Art with a Professional Sequence in Education from The University of Houston in 2009. Go Coogs!
My concentration was in ceramics, metal-smithing and sculpture. Although art is my calling, confections are my passion! I design sculptural cakes and create edible food art in my spare time.
My husband Brian is a mechanical engineer and my two boys Matthew and Mark keep us super busy. We also have two awesome dogs, Ruby and Pearl.
