About Me...

I was born and raised here in Alvin, Texas. As a kid, I attended Passmore Elementary, Alvin Junior High, and graduated from Alvin High School. This is my 9th year teaching junior high and I wouldn't change a thing about it. I love being a part of your life during the crazy junior high years and I hope to leave a lasting impression and love for school before you leave here. I have a passion for teaching the English Language to students who have just arrived to the states. It's my mission to make school a pleasant experience and place kids love to be.

When I am not at school with my students, I love to spend time with my family. My husband Efrain and I have two children; Noah is 11 and Nayeli is 6. Our dog Raven is also a huge part of our family! Noah plays guitar in a rock band and Nayeli is in gymnastics. On the weekends we like to spend time on our land where we are in the process of building our dream home!

It's going to be a great year! I can't wait!
