Scouts BSA Troop 70
Cinnaminson, New Jersey
Boy Scouts of America
Eagle Scouts and former leaders: help update our records.
Welcome!
Troop 70 Cinnaminson consists of boys aged 10/11* through 17. The Scouts BSA program is designed to promote character, leadership, citizenship and personal fitness while instilling the fundamental values of Scouting.
Our troop is made up of patrols with 6 to 8 Scouts. We meet every Tuesday from September through June. Once a month we do an outdoor activity such as a camping trip, a hike, or a service project. During the summer the boys go away for a week of overnight camp (usually out-of-state).
Scouts BSA in Troop 70 is the traditional Scouting experience where boys can have their share of adventure in the great outdoors, develop a love of service by volunteering in their community, boost their leadership skills through fun and exciting challenges, and create memories of a lifetime with no prior Scouting experience required!
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
Troop 70 meets every Tuesday night, 7:00 to 8:30, from the beginning of September through mid-June.
Weekend camping 8 to 10 times per year.
One- to five-mile hikes throughout the year.
Service projects about 4 times per year.
Week-long overnight summer camp.
Boundless leadership opportunities for every boy.
We are youth-led under the guidance of trained adults. Boys lead boys in Troop 70.
Scouting is a path to success!
