About

Dinara holds a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Economics and minoring in Mathematics (2015) and a Master’s degree in Economics (2017) from Nazarbayev University, Astana, Kazakhstan.

She obtained a PhD in Economics (2021) from KU Leuven, Belgium. Her thesis titled ‘Labor Market Imperfections and Productivity Growth’ is centered around the analysis of the impact of labor regulations on aggregate outcomes.

Currently, Dinara is a post-doctoral researcher at Skatteforsk – Centre for Tax Research, Norwegian University of Life Sciences, Norway. At Skatteforsk, she is working under the project “Employment, investment, and inequality in the aftermath of the Covid-19 crisis”, which studies the impact of policy measures introduced during the pandemic.
