I am Aranya Sarkar, originally from Kolkata, India. I completed my BSc(Hons.) in Mathematics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, 15 mins away from my home. I moved to Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India, to pursue my MSc in Mathematics, completing in July 2025. I am presently in search of doctoral positions in Functional Analysis.
I am interested in theoretical and applicable functional analysis, with special emphasis towards Operator Theory and Operator Algebras, specifically dimension theory of C*-algebras, theory of operator spaces and von Neumann Algebras.
