The dance program at Willowcreek Middle School is run by two incredible dance teachers: Mrs. Gibbons is over the creative classes and also runs the dance company. Mrs. Greer teaches all of the social dance classes.

I strive to create a classroom that is engaged in learning through dance while gaining a greater appreciation for music and movement. As we partner together with courage and determination to try new things, we learn much more than just steps. I enjoy watching students increase their knowledge and abilities in communication, confidence, perseverance, and friendships

Over the years I have witnessed first hand the benefits and growth that come from students that take Social Dance.

I found my love for dance in Junior High and continued it through College where I had the wonderful opportunity to compete at the World renowned Blackpool Championship in both Standard and Latin Styles. I have since shared my love for dance with the Willowcreek Community since 2018.

Use the tabs above to learn more about the dance classes offered at Willowcreek. Keep in mind, Dance Fundamentals is a highly-suggested, pre-requisite for Choreography. It is suggested that 7th graders interested in auditioning for Dance Company, take the Choreography class.
