• Students need laptops or tablets (at least one for each small group) with an internet connection so that they can access and explore the online simulation. • You will also need chart paper and markers to record students’ ideas.

• Be prepared to add “temperature” to the class Word Catcher Wall (temperature as a measure of the average kinetic energy of particles in a substance).
