To a 5th/6th grader, the word quest usually means an exciting journey or adventure where they have a goal to accomplish or something important to find. It's often associated with stories about heroes searching for treasure, solving mysteries, or completing challenges to save the day. For example:
A quest could be like going on a treasure hunt to find hidden gold.
It might feel like an epic adventure from a video game, where they level up and achieve a big goal.
Or it could be about helping a magical kingdom by solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles.
For kids, a quest usually sparks their imagination and makes them feel like a brave explorer or heroes!
