Archery - Thank you for a great season! See you next year!
Cross country is a running sport that takes place on natural terrain such as grass, dirt, and trails. It involves running 2 mile races and practices where we run between 2-5 miles, while navigating hills, curves, and various other obstacles.
Participating in cross country can help develop a range of skills such as endurance, stamina, and speed. It also requires mental toughness, discipline, and focus to push through physical challenges and maintain a consistent pace throughout the race. Cross country runners also develop teamwork skills as they train and compete with their teammates, often relying on each other for support and motivation.
Track and Field is a sport that involves running on the track as well as other activities such as jumping and throwing. Events included are 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m (9th grade), high jump, long jump, and shot put.
Participating in Track and Field can help you improve on your skills such as agility, power, and endurance. Track and Field takes place in the spring and involves mental discipline when competing in spring weather. We encourage one another and teach about the importance and teamwork. It requires learning about the importance of sportsmanship and how to respectful when competing with other teams.
