Hello!
Welcome to our Silver Lake Kindergarten website. We have created this website to help prepare you and your student for their upcoming kindergarten experience.
On each tab in the menu you will find a variety of kindergarten readiness activities, a page about our 2025-2026 kindergarten team, our 2025-2026 Alpine School District calendar along with our Silver Lake calendar and a digital classroom to explore. Please take a moment and explore all of the tabs. Have your student work on a kindergarten readiness activity each day to help them get excited and prepared for their upcoming school year.
The Silver Lake Elementary Back to School Night will be held on Monday, August 11th, 2025 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. All kindergarten students will be invited to come meet their teacher and see their new classroom.
The first day of kindergarten is Tuesday, August 19th 2025.

"School funds are limited, and your school may need help. As a result, the school may ask you for tax-deductible donations of school supplies, equipment, or money, but the school cannot require donations or tell anyone else the names of those who have or have not made donations (except that the school may honor those who make major donations). No child may be penalized for not making a donation. For example, if donations are used to pay for a field trip, every child must be allowed to go on the trip though some may not have made a donation."
Alpine Donation Guidelines
"We do several activities throughout the school year and we need a lot of supplies. We are asking for a $25 donation for each kindergarten student. This will help us pay for our field trip, our school supplies and many other kindergarten activities. Thank you so much for supporting our Silver Lake kindergarten students."
