A.L.L. placement testing is used to identify students who may be gifted or advanced. After testing, the most qualified students are invited to attend an A.L.L. magnet school for elementary grades or an A.L.L. class in the junior high. For information about the A.L.L. program, click here.
Important Note: Initial placement has been made for all classrooms for the 2025-2026 school year. During this make-up testing window, priority is NOT given to students who take the test earlier in the window. Priority will be given to students who score the highest on the placement tests. It is possible that your student will not hear a decision until early August. This is often when we can confirm that there are openings in the classrooms. Students may only take the test once during window.
Please note deadlines for registering for each testing date. For make-up testing, deadlines vary.

To ensure your student's scores are considered, it is important that your student is registered correctly. Please answer the following questions to lead you to the right registration form. Testing fees are not refunded for students registered incorrectly.
It is IMPORTANT that you do not register your student twice for the test. This causes problems with our data and delays results being sent to the schools. Please request verification or a test change instead of registering your student a second time.
