Q. When should I consider hiring a caregiver for myself or a loved one?
You may consider hiring a caregiver for yourself or for a loved one when simple life tasks become difficult to complete. For example, light housekeeping, meal preparation, or even bathing.
Q. What are the benefits of hiring an in-home caregiver?
There is no better feeling than knowing that you or your loved one could remain in the comfort of their own home while receiving the necessary care. Our caregivers are there to help with your daily needs as well as providing comfort and support.
Q. How much notice do you need in order to start services?
Services may be started the day we are contacted, however, we do prefer to have 2-3 days in order to ensure that your caregiver is the best fit.
Q. What forms of payment are accepted?
We currently accept private pay (Checks and credit cards) and Long Term Care Insurance.
Q. Do you provide 24 hours service?
Yes, we provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Q. Do you provide short-term care?
Yes, we offer short-term services.
Q. What if the services needed are for a couple?
We offer couple care at a special discounted rate.
Q. Are your employees all trained to provide care?
Yes, all of our employees are CPR certified and have received proper training.
Q. What happens when a caregiver goes on vacation or is sick?
We have many caregivers who can fill in while your caregiver is away.
Q. How far in advance do we need to notify you the service is not needed on a certain day?
We request that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
Q. How do I reach someone after hours?
You can call us at 808-354-6830 at any time. An on-call manager will be there to assist you.
Q. Do you only take care of seniors?
While we mainly provide service to seniors, we do have caregivers who are trained to provide care for children.
Q. Do you provide service in facilities?
Yes, we do provide service in facilities.
Q. What is the minimum number of hours required per shift?
Our minimum hours are 4 hours per shift.
Q. How often are patient care needs reassessed?
A manager will do a monthly visit to each client. During that time, they will review the Plan of Care and update any changes that are needed.
Q. Do you charge extra for night or weekend care?
No, we do not have an extra charge for night or weekend care.
