Hello and welcome to my classroom website! I am entering into my twelfth year of teaching (all here at ACSHS!). Here are a few things I'd like you to know about me:

• • I am married to my best friend, Robbie.
  • We live on a farm in Warren County.
  • We are the proud parents of a busy little boy named Clay.
  • We have approximately 50+ chickens and our dog, Sampson.

• • I have a B.A. in English and Allied Language Arts with Secondary Education certification.
  • I have a M.A.Ed. as a Literacy Specialist: K-12.
  • I am currently enrolled at WKU for my Rank I in Library Informatics and Technology Education.

• • I was raised in Edmonson County near Mammoth Cave National Park.
  • I am a 2004 graduate of ECHS.

• • My hobbies are reading, writing, painting and sketching, thrift shopping (Goodwill for the win), and interior design.
  • I love anything old, vintage, or colorful.
  • My favorite seasons are fall and winter.
  • My favorite holiday is Christmas, but I begin celebrating the "holiday season" in my classroom October 1st.
  • My favorite book is Beauty by Robin McKinley.
  • My favorite movie is a tie between The Princess Bride, Crazy Rich Asians, and Pride and Prejudice.
  • My favorite TV shows are Parks and Rec, The Office, and Manifest.
  • I am obsessed with Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton!

And Most Importantly:

• • I am a Christian of the United Baptist faith. I love the Lord with all my heart. It is my sincere desire to teach and live in such a way that you would see something more in me.
