I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the Department of History and Philosophy at Allegheny College. During 2012-2017 I held the same position at the Philosophy Department at Bogazici University, Istanbul. Before that, I taught at University of Missouri-St.Louis. I hold a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Syracuse University.
I specialize in identity through time, Neo-Aristotelian ontology and social ontology, and philosophy of gender and race. I have research and teaching interests in philosophy of agency, especially related to addiction. I teach courses in philosophy of mind, epistemology, ethics, social philosophy, and philosophy of gender and race.
