Alisal Gmail Training

The Alisal Educational Technology (Edtech) Department is happy that you have found our site.

This site is a resource to anyone who is getting started with Gmail and Google Calendar at work. In our case we switched over from Microsoft Outlook, but we're pretty sure that even proficient or experienced users will find new things to learn here here when it comes to getting the most out of these fantastic Google productivity tools.

You will notice that the site is broken up by product to make it easy and quick for you to find exactly what you're looking for. Each topic has a Videos & Tutorials section and an Instructional Documents section to accommodate all kinds of needs and learning styles. You'll notice there are pages devoted to the following items:

Some of these materials were taken from Google's own G Suite Learning Center and some were created by the Alisal Edtech Department. Please feel free to use anything we created under Share-alike with attribution licensing.

Why Alisal Is Going Gmail

There are many reason to "go Google" for Alisal Union School District, as there are for many other organizations. These many reasons are why most of the Ivy League Universities, the University of California and the California State University campuses have already done so, along with thousands of K-12 school district all over the nation. In our particular case, we are trying to bring some benefits of access and efficiency to all of the hard-working folks of Alisal, and to solve a few problems all at the same time.
